Jarapa sees order volume skyrocket after launching Google Ads
The Challenge
The Challenge
Prior to launching Google Ads, Jarapa relied heavily on Meta Ads and Pinterest Ads to acquire new customers. While both platforms performed well for brand awareness and consistent sales, they weren’t experiencing significant growth. Their retargeting audience pools on both platforms were becoming exhausted, with ad frequency reaching high levels and a lack of fresh new users. To unlock the next stage of growth, we proposed expanding into Google Ads.

Our Approach
Our Approach
Our aim was to drive high-intent new users to the website through an additional online marketplace, while simultaneously increasing the size and quality of retargeting audiences across Meta and Pinterest.
We implemented a multi-campaign type Google Ads structure, designed to:
-
Capture branded and non-branded search demand
-
Reach users at different stages in the customer journey
-
Support full-funnel growth across all paid channels
Using Google’s Keyword Planner, we built campaigns around keywords with strong search volume, affordable CPCs, and low-to-medium competition.
Ad copy was carefully crafted using:
-
High-performing paid social messaging
-
Website and product copy
-
Jarapa’s brand guidelines
-
Our in-depth understanding of Google Ads best practices
The account launched with a fully optimised Search and Performance Max setup, making full use of all available assets.
To accelerate learning, campaigns initially ran on a Maximise Clicks bidding strategy, allowing Google to gather sufficient data and understand conversion behaviour. This is a key step that’s often overlooked, especially in new accounts which have no historical data.
Results
Results
While Google Ads typically requires a learning period, Jarapa saw near-immediate results, with orders generated within the first week.
In under 3 months of activity, Google Ads delivered 80+ orders at a CPA of £22, generating £5,000+ in Revenue.
Channel impact:
-
Google Ads delivered 153% more orders than Meta and Pinterest combined in the previous 3 months
-
Meta and Pinterest saw a 240% increase in orders since Google Ads launched
-
Overall, total orders across Google, Meta, and Pinterest increased by 493% compared to the previous period
-
This demonstrates that Google Ads has not only been effective as a standalone channel, but has also played a key role in driving growth across Meta and Pinterest.
With a strong foundation in place, our focus now is on ongoing optimisation and ROAS growth, shifting towards revenue-focused bidding strategies to maximise profitability while continuing to scale.
